Two craft villages that built old Hoi An, reached by boat on the river. Thanh Ha’s potters made the bricks and tiles of the old town and still restore them today; Kim Bong’s carpenters carved its houses and still build wooden boats.

Itinerary

  1. 8:00 AM or 2:00 PMYou are collected at your hotel lobby and taken to the meeting point in the Old Town.
  2. Walk to Bach Dang dock and board the boat. Enjoy the riverside scenery.
  3. Arrive at Thanh Ha Pottery Village to see local daily life and watch the steps of making a pottery product.
  4. Continue to Kim Bong Carpentry Village: hear the history of the village, visit the shipbuilding yards and see the handicrafts and sculptures.
  5. Return to Bach Dang dock, where the tour ends.
